SMOKE AND HEAT SENSOR

This sensor does two things. It detects smoke particles in the air, using photo electronics. It also detects when a room is getting too hot, too fast. It combines these abilities to protect you and your home from fire.
If the sensor detects either of these potentially dangerous conditions, it triggers an alert to the Control Panel. The Control Panel signals the Monitoring Center to dispatch the fire department to your home.
This sensor is sensitive to airborne particles, so it's best used in areas mostly free of smoke or dust.
